WHAT IS SCOUTING

Scouting is a system of searching for and supporting new cooperation with partners all over the world.

WHO IS A SCOUT

A Scout is an authorized person by the W.Y.F. that is responsible for scouting in the area assigned to him. He helps the person interested in YB (Yoseikan Budo) to become acquainted with the principles of this martial art and the system of integration into the structures of W.Y.F..   If the Scout receives authorization from W.Y.C. (World Yoseikan Council), he also provides basic instruction, with the member of T.S. (Teacher School), in his assigned area.

WHAT IS THE SCOUT’S ROLE

The Scout’s task is to find and get to know the candidate interested in YB and the spread of it in his country.  He provides him information about W.Y.F..  The Scout also needs to be helpful in the process of integration into the structures of W.Y.F., help with the candidate’s education regarding YB, as well as help with getting to know the system of education and education methodology of YB in the candidate’s country.

ENTRY POSSIBILITIES OF A NEW MEMBER

Every new candidate that shows interest in YB has the opportunity to be integrated into the education process of W.Y.F. from the first contact with W.Y.F.. Through the Scout, it is possible to arrange meetings with the W.Y.F. with the goal to clarify the first steps. After receiving all of the necessary information and the Scout’s recommendation, the candidate decides whether he wants to continue with the integration into the structures of W.Y.F..  If he does, he attends a meeting with other representatives of the W.Y.F..  These kinds of meetings are held numerous times a year in different countries of Europe.  At this meeting that is connected with a seminar the candidate becomes familiar with YB in a closer form and has the chance to meet with the head of the W.Y.F.. In case, the members of the MOCHIZUKI family are present at the event, the candidate can also meet with them.  Following the mutual agreement between the candidate and the W.Y.F. on the form of cooperation in the candidate’s country, the membership contract is signed.  After fulfilling all of the contract requirements, the candidate becomes a valid member of W.Y.F. with all duties, rights and obligations based on the level of his membership.  W.Y.F. offers a number of membership levels.

INTEGRATION INTO THE STRUCTURES OF W.Y.F.

After the candidate becomes a valid member of the W.Y.F., he receives education in all areas of YB.  Based on the evaluation of results by the W.Y.F. on the spread of YB in the member’s country, and on the basis of fulfilling the requirements of the W.Y.F. to create the necessary structures and committees, the member may apply for full membership and thus exclusive partnership with the W.Y.F. in his country.
